The Logical Indian recently spotted a drug being sold out with a manufacturing date of 2016 in the stores and it’s extremely dangerous for consumers. There’s no need to tell how harmful improper medicines can be, but unfortunately, playing with the lives of common consumers have become simply a joke for companies.
And the worst part of it is that the manufacturer of this medicine is an Indian company; Vishal Pharmaceuticals. Expired Medicines and incorrect manufacturing dates are really very harmful for people. Some medicines tend to become unstable on prolonged storage too, and therefore it is highly recommended not to use medicines part their expiry date.
The bottomline is, a patient, who expects to get cured by such medicines may eventually get even more worse by them. So be aware, take care while taking medicines, do check their expiry date! 🙂
