Facebook Safety Check Confirms you’re safe or not during a Natural Disaster

Well, Mark Zuckerberg’s mastermind, Facebook have taken a step forward to overcome this issue. Just a few days ago, Facebook officially announced its brand new feature, namely, ‘Safety Check’ that helps you notify your friends and relatives whether you are all right or not, sounds COOL, right?

Can’t belive…whenever you are in an affected area, you’ll get a notification from Facebook asking whether you are safe or not and moreover, if you are unable to access internet connectivity on your device, your friends can reply on your behalf i.e. you are safe or not.

Actually, this tool was developed following the unpredictable Disaster at Japan in 2011. Now, you’d be thinking how he tracks your location, right? Its simple guys; using the city and the address you’ve provided in your Facebook account. All you have to do to leave a message to your friends and family is to click I’m safe or I’m not.
