Definitely, you know about Ringing Bells, or wait, YOU DON’T. If at all you don’t, then you must understand that it is the company that’ll be known forever for making the cheapest smartphone ever, and literally ever! Forever, ever since the news first came about, the thing was considered to be a scam, which it eventually had turned out to be.
BJP MP Kirit Somaiyya is what arose his voice against Ringing Bells, saying that it is a ponzi Bogus scam, which eventually urged Noida Police to lodge an FIR against the Noida-based itself Ringing Bells.
Kirit also requested the officials to freeze the company’s accounts to prevent any gullible transactions and accused the company of putting up several taglines allegedly like Make in India, Digital India. Several Indian government offices like the Telecom Ministry, corporate ministry, finance Ministry, Sebi are involved in the case.
Eventually, I believe what Kirit did was something we all were just expecting from any ‘man-in-power’ to do. Definitely a phone, so powerful, priced so, and I mean SOO low can’t be true at all. On the other hand, Mohit Goel, CEO and director for Ringing Bells said that he totally supports and is in favour of whatever the Government plans to do.
“We remain committed to cooperate with any government agency that may require to inquire our organisation for any reason or suspicion. I do maintain that we will deliver the most affordable quality products to our customers through our various range of smart phones including the Freedom 251,” is what he said.
