Gionee has officially unveiled their latest offering, the Elife S6 today in the Indian market. The high-end specifications phone is priced at Rs 19,999, but was introduced in China last year in November. So, let’s jus quickly check out what it offers.
The 6.9mm thick device has got metal all around itself. . It features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with HD resolution and is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3. The device is clocked with a 64-bit MediaTek Octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage (up to 128 GB via the MicroSD card) is in the storage panel.
The device is the second from the company to power the USB-Type C port, the first one being Gionee Elife S Plus. It supports dual SIM dual standby with the help of hybrid SIM slot that can also accept a MicroSD card instead of the second SIM. Talking about the camera, the device has got a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDA). On the front, it has gt a 5MP front-snapper that has got gesture snapper and wide-angle lens.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System with Amigo 3.1 UI. The 3,150 mAh battery promises 18.8 hours of talktime with a massive 342 hours of standby. The device is, for now, a Flipkart exclusive for now, at a price tag of Rs 19,999 and is available in colors like Gold, Silber and Rose Gold.
