With almost all the companies adding flagships to their portfolios, HTC decided to do the same with the launch of the 3 news flagships in the market; the HTC Desire 825, 530 and 630, quite close in terms of specifications but all with a different back design.
Here, I’ll solely talk about the HTC Desire 825.
HTC Desire 825 Specifications
The HTC Desire 825 comes with a wide 5.5-inch of screen with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution protected by Corning Gorilla Glass (the version isn’t specified yet). Powered by the Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.6 GHz, the device comes with 2GB RAM with 16GB of Internal Storage that can be expanded using the MicroSD card.
The device runs on the recent Android v6.0 Marshmallow with Adreno 305 GPU packed inside the smartphone. The device’s camera and battery, just like the rest of it’s features, can just be stated as mediocre. With the 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and LED flash with a 5MP camera on the front side.
It supports both single SIM and Dual SIM and 4G LTE too. The device comes backed by a 2,700mAh battery that can easily last for a day of mixed usage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, MicroUSB port, and 4G LTE.
The device was unveiled today at the MWC 2016 event and will be available in White and Gray color variants. When asked about the price tag, the company had no response.
