In a launch event today at Mumbai, Oppo unveiled two of their latest smartphones, the Oppo F1 and the F1 Plus. The Oppo F1, which is a camera oriented smartphone has got a 13MP rear camera with an 8MP front-facing camera. The device has got a 1280 x 720 pixels of 5 inch display that is protected by the corning Gorilla Glass 4.
It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm 616 processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 405 GPU. Under the storage section, you’ll have a 3GB RAM chip with 16GB internal storage capacity.
When the phones were first shown to the world earlier in January at the CES, the company said that the F series is specially to create smartphones which will sport a great camera. The Oppo F1’s 13MP rear camera has also got F/2.2 aperture with LED flash. It comes with 8-megapixel front facing camera with wider f/2.0 aperture which is 1/4-inch sensor. The front camera comes with features like Beautify 3.0, 8 live colour filters etc. In low light conditions the display acts as the flash.
Apart from this, the device runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Color OS 2.1 over it. It has also got a 2500 mAh Li-on non-removable battery. The device will be available in two color variants; white and gold and is launched at a price tag of Rs 15,990 as the company is also offering a selfie stick with the flagship, it, being a camera focused phone.
