Jan 15, 2015 by Sensible Peswani Leave a Comment

What if I ask you, Do you like cakes? You’d just say, is this guy going nuts, asking such a silly question? Obviously, we all love eating cakes and that their varied and interesting-looking designs fascinates us. But I’m not here to discuss different cake designs, but am talking about a very inspiring entrepreneur who’ve taught herself from the money earned by her hard work and moreover, contributed to an NGO through her bakery. This successful and inspiring personality is Simran Multani.

simran multani

Simran started her own Bakery namely Ovenderful. According to her, cakes are not only about profession, it is a precious way to celebrate every small moments of our lives. Ovenderful got its origin from regular baking from Simran as her passion. It is all about making delicious and attractive cakes with no prior instruments. Here, the bakes are made up of simple flour and without additives.

Ovenderful got impetus from a Gurgaon based NGO, which took vocational training classes for village girls. Simran used to take baking classes of 12 girls coming from different villages. And in return, she was taught expert baking with a bit of tools and resources.

Other than a multi-talented woman, Simran is also a mother of two and is currently promoting Overderful through mediums of Social Media. Here’s what Simran has to say about Ovenderful:

“For home baking ventures, revenue is linked to the time spent as well as the quality of ingredients used. Getting people accustomed to these factors as essential parameters that need to be paid for, takes time. I make sure that there is staggered investment at this stage so that I can continue to break-even before I move up to another level of investment,”

Simran has truly proved that no matter how much problems and challenges strike, hard work and persistency can overcome them. Simran truly resisted the challenges that came in front of her and tried her best to turn into an entrepreneur.

I hope this success story inspires you and explains you the lesson that women are no inferior in any case, it is just our thinking!
