After the announcement of their free 4G Reliance Jio, pairing it up with the LYF series smartphone, Reliance has also come up with a newest addition of the LYF category, with the Reliance LYF Water 5. The LYF Water 5 will be sold exclusively from Amazon.in.
The LYF Water 5 is overall a very interesting package for the price of Rs. 11,699. The device packs a 5-inch display with 4GB RAM and runs on the Snapdragn 410 SoC. It has got 16GB of Internal Storage which can be expanded using the MicroSD Card along with a SIM Card tray too.
The design of this device is just alike the most common LYF Water smartphones that are coming up in the market, though that back panel always seemed good to me. It’s display has got ASAHI super tough Dragon-Trail glass protection to protect from scratches. Apart from that it sports a 13MP camera with autofocus, 6x digital zoom, Panorama options, etc.
The battery department is nice too, a 2920mAh battery clocked in it providing up to 16 hours of talktime. The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Operating System along with a few Jio branded apps pre-installed into the phone and 2 years manufacturer warranty. It also supports dual SIM and 4G LTE.
The Reliance LYF Water 5 is priced at Rs. 11,699 and as already mentioned, will be an Amazon.in exclusive, at least for the time being.
