The last time we came across the cheapest phone offering 4G was the Yu YUnique, by the YU Televentures, but it’s record is broken by Swipe’s latest phone. The Swipe Elite 2 has become the cheapest phone coming with 4G, at a price tag of Rs 4,666. The phone will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
The device comes with a 4.5-inch of qHD display with a MediaTek processor, coming with 64-bit and clocked at 1.5GHz. It comes with 1GB RAM with expandable 8GB Storage, and comes with a MicroSD card. It boasts an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for videos and selfies.
It has also got a 1900 mAh battery, promising a mediocre-range talktime. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and offers 100GB of online storage with the company’s Swipe Box. It’ll be coming only in the black color variant at the price of Rs 4,666, with a special offer for Uber drivers by Swipe, following which, they’ll get it exclusively from 30th November to 7th October.
