After unveiling them at MWC 2016, it was Vivo’s turn of launching their new devices, the Xplay 5 and Xplay 5 Ultimate version, the most hyped one being the Ultimate version because of it’s 6GB RAM. The Vivo Xplay 5 can be called the baby-brother of the Ultimate version.
The Vivo Xplay 5 comes with a range of mediocre features at a price of which most people won’t prefer it. It comes with a 5.43-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. With 4GB RAM with 128GB Internal Storage in it’s storage panel, the only difference between the two is it’s RAM.
The Vivo Xplay 5 comes with a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It’s connectivity settings include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with FastTouch OS.
The device sports a powerful 16MP Camera which comes with LED Flash and an 8MP Front-facing camera. It comes with a 3600 mAh battery which offers decent standby and yes, has got fingerprint sensors too. The Vivo Xplay 5 was launched today at a price of Rs 3698 Yuan, which, if converted, will make up Rs 38,900, which, as per me, isn’t up to the mark price for the offering.
The device will be available for sale starting from March 8th.
