Today, at the Mobile World Congress, one of the most awaited, the Mi 5 was unveiled and literally left everyone with their jaws dropped. With it’s exceptional specifications and the affordable price, this definitely is going to be the pick for many. There are three versions of the Xiaomi Mi 5, which is geared towards the Chinese market, and will start at just $306 (CNY 2000).
In the device, you get a 5.15-inch FullHD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 16MP rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, Autofocus, OIS and LED flash with a 8MP front-facing camera with 2um sensor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. If you wish to have the 64GB variant, then the price will spike up to $352. Finally, the Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro with ceramic back will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the price of $413 (CNY 2700).
The pre-orders for the device are currently going on in China and that the release date is finalized to be 1st March. However, we don’t have any official information if the company would be selling it in other foreign markets or not.
